“I like them pictures with the words on ‘em” is why I run this blog, but that makes a crappy tagline. The old tagline (“I’m not a graphic designer, I just play one on TV”) was even worse, y'all. For an interested layman, I know more than enough to get me by–it’s not as though, over the course of three years of typography blogging, I’ve entirely avoided learning about it. I started this blog to learn.
I just like to keep up a facade of charming bloggerly naïveté (c.f. this) to deflect most serious graphic design inquiries.
