This is the back cover of the famous MIT press Bauhaus publication, originally designed by Muriel Cooper in 1969, with additions in a reprinting in 1976. This publication went on through a fourth printing in 1980.I brought this copy back from MIT and every student that I had was required to do an extensive report on some aspect of the Bauhaus. Needless to say, my MIT Bauhaus book underwent heavy use. But Muriel Cooper’s design is still there and functioning, even under a layer of strapping tape.
