1+2. Sweet, I was way too lazy to look it up and I never expect anyone to read the tags, unless, of course, it involves Helvetica. And the joke doesn’t really work if it’s not Helvetica, does it. The double-joke is that the person whose Flickr gallery I pulled it from was full of images that look pretty much exactly like that—I’m not sure if it was really a joke on the designer’s part, or if I just find it funny. 3. I had no idea, huh. (Gentle readers, the stance is here.) I was only peripherally aware of the AIGA’s existence in the first place; I was approached and asked nicely to Post a Thing about the contest, but you’re right, people should know both ends of the issue.
