Most egregious use of Comic Sans that you've ever seen?
My old roommate did her seven-page menu project all in Comic Sans and had me look over it for spelling errors. I wanted to cry. (Could have been worse! Could have been Papyrus.)

Oh… the image links directly to Flickr page on which I found your work. The Tumblr theme that I use, however, was designed by Andrew (thank you, Andrew!), and so at the bottom of every page there’s a link to his website. I’ll see about going in and moving it down a bit so no one else gets confused, though.
How do you better yourself as a designer?
Ahaha—I’m not a designer or design student, just an interested layman. But I assume the answer is like it is for any other art: practice your ass off and find someone who’s better than you to point out the flaws in your work, and actually listen to that person.
I'm interested in knowing your all time fave typefaces. Like, what 5 would you take with you to a desert island?
In no particular order:
1. Georgia (I like it, okay? It makes me happy.)
2. Baskerville
3. Garamond
4. Public Gothic (it was free)
5. Didot
