Because of this: "Amazingly this museum houses the world's only copy of the original Garamond letter dies. It was these catalogs of letter dies that are called upon when a particular fonts is digitized, which form the basis for the Garamond font which you can now pull up in any text editor."

Tell us something about yourself. Are you a student? What got you into typography?
Oh man, I’m about to lose all my cred. I’ve mentioned this before, I think, but I’m a second year in college, studying… cooking. Culinary arts, if you wanna call it that. No specific focus.
As for what got me into typography, I like words, and I like pretty pictures, which turned into liking pretty pictures with words on them, which turned into an appreciation for typography. I think the real appreciation came after I started this tumblr, though.
